Purchased this smart looking drive at the black Friday sale recently, very solid and good looking device, nice that it handled both USB A and USB C.
Very fast read and write speeds, mounted quickly. Stopped working dead after about a week and a half, zero nil nothing.

I purchased this drive for the storage capacity and the dual USB-A / USB-C connectors. I needed it to transfer data between my MacPro and work PC. The drive worked as expected at first, however within a few months it wouldn't transfer files between the drive and my Mac no matter the size, nor on the PC either. The next issue became being unable to hold a stable connection and self-ejecting/disconnecting without warning on both Mac and PC. I thought it might have been corrupted somehow so I ran anti-virus software on it which seemed to help initially but it didn't last. Regardless of the issue, I now only want to transfer everything off of it. I've tired connecting it directly and then indirectly through a USB hub, but no luck as It wont hold a connection for more than a few minutes if it even connects at all. I do not recommend this USB drive to anyone.

The shinny metal exterior hides the fact that this was not a functional drive after only a month or so of normal use.

Pros:
1. Excellent build quality (it feels like a solid chunk of aluminium).
2. USB-C and USB-A dual functionality.

Cons:
1. Sustained write speed of 20 MB/s when writing large files (much slower for lots of small files). Pros:

This little drive fits easily on a keyring, has a protective swivel cover that works really well, and gives pretty snappy USB 3.2 speeds with 64GB of space. It's especially useful for grabbing stuff from my PC's USB-A port to my Macbook's USB-C port (the drive's EXFAT formatted) - so much that I got one for my daughter too!
