Really great boom arm especially for the price. Great friction adjustments and the joints are spring-loaded so even without the clamps tightened, it holds its place. This boom arm is solid enough for its intended use in home studios and for videographers and podcasters. While the construction isn't to professional standards, it's better than expected at this price.

Would recommend this over the Blue Compass Boom arm. I'm pairing it with the HyperX Quadcast and it does its job really well. Easy to set up, the knobs are well in place unlike the Blue Compass arm and it's a lot cheaper. Would recommend this over the Blue Compass Boom arm. I have a Hyper X a desk mic that I used for online meetings that was sitting on my desk and always in the way. Been using it for a few weeks now. My home office is quite compact so desk space is at a premium and the boom arm was perfect for freeing up desk space, tidying up the cables and apparently improved the audio (couple of comments in a couple of meetings) as the mic now sits just above the monitor directly in-front of me. Feels really well made and the adjustments were perfect and very tight and stable. The cable tidies were a bonus. Pretty pleased with the new setup. This boom is awesome. It has a long reach, is nice and clean to look at and is super easy to set up. Works perfectly with my razor siren mic.
