It is alright, quality is cheap but does the job, lasted less than 12 months before significant cracking not being used on super thick carpet and with larger wheels, suspect would last longer if you are really light. image showing size compared to desk/chair on product description is misleading. Came rolled up which lead to bent corners pointing up, was never able to fix these even with extended weighting them down. If you are looking for a resonably cheap chair mat that just does an alright job this will do it. This is excellent, stays pretty well in one place on the carpet, with minimal movement which my previous mat didn't do. Nice to slide over. Has little bumps on the underside to hold it in place. My only issue was getting it to lay flat initially as it's packaged in a roll. I'd suggest setting it aside and putting some weights on it to flatten it out. Was looking for a reasonably priced under desk carpet protector and there weren't any options other than this- these turned out to be very good quality, and priced where a mat like this should be. Those other brands that try to charge $140+ have got to be dreaming charging that much for a mat.

I was reluctant to purchase this because of the price, I usually buy the expensive ($300+) chair mat, usually they crack after 2 years.
Surprisingly this is working very well on my thick carpet, its thin martial however works very well for me and I will purchase one as spare.
