It has sharp edges, so just need to be careful while you are handling it, that’s only an issue at the time of handling it. Once it’s laid out, it stays flat. Rolled out flat, perfect size and cheaper than other alternatives. It does a great job of protecting the carpet after having it for about 2 weeks. The wheels of the chair do leave a dent in the mat after a while, but it is better that the protector is getting dented rather than the carpet. Sitting in the chair mat without moving for close to an hour or more creates wheel impression and doesn't move freely. I wont say its a worst buy but an average one. When you have plans to pick up this product from a store please take your car. Dont aim to walk from your work thinking its few streets away. You will be given it as such to take and the grip spikes might pull out some threads when you carry it.
