I was looking for a new smart phone to be my daily driver. It needed to have a large OLED screen, plenty of storage, good cameras, long battery life and most of all to make phone calls that don't drop out like my Samsung S8+. It does everything I need and much more as my new daily driver.
There are concerns about the phone heating up and the cameras not being that great in the forums. Personally I'm happy with the picture quality from the cameras. The phone has been warm sometimes. It hasn't been an issue for me so far. I use my phone everyday and it hasn't missed a beat.
Asus ROG Phone 6 really packs a punch in features for the price. A complete kit in the box. There is no phone out there that gives you a 6.7 OLED screen, 256 GB storage, 12 GB ram, 6000 mAh battery for the price. I'd definitely recommend this product.

What I will only say is that this too powerful of a phone that you can even play 2 heavy games at the same time using edge tool. I was actually planning to buy iphone 15 but changed mind when I saw the specs and it's features I am much reasonable price. The only downside is the camera and it much gut be a bit heavy in the pocket. I would recommend this if you want a powerful phone to play games. This phone by far doesn't disappoint it can play all the games I've thrown at it and it can be played with all high settings. I haven't encountered any game that couldn't handle it. The feature of air triggers are also huge help if you are fan of fps games.

The only phone with top of line processor and a 3.5mm jack and a 6000 battery. No other phone comes close.

I needed a new phone but didn't want an I-phone and preferred to stay with android but wouldn't touch Samsung again (I have had 2 bad experiences with the phones breaking down and Samsung refusing to fix or replace, and you pay a clear premium for the Samsung name but IMHO the performance doesn't match up to the inflated price).

MY basic requirements were a big battery that lasts, runs fast and is hard wearing. I hit the jackpot with this, while not a hard core gamer, I love this phone. I knew about ASUS from monitors etc and wasn't sure about buying a ASUS phone, but glad I did as its an absolute beast.

Only small gripe is that it has taken we a wee while to get used to the interface, it isn't as intuitive as others I have used, particularly if you are trying to flip between screens.

One does not need to be a gamer to appreciate this phone. The fantastic battery capacity of 6000mAh provides plenty of battery life, especially if one makes use of battery life extending features such as reducing the screen refresh rate. The battery care features -- slowing down the charge rate and putting a cap on the maximum charge -- work very well. Even with a slowed down charging rate this phone recharges incredibly fast with the provided 65W charger. The OLED display delivers deep blacks and provides a very nice touch. Sound is incredibly rich, i.e., delivers actual low frequencies, from both symmetrically arranged stereo speakers. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also very welcome, as Bluetooth headphones are fine but one does not always want to run their batteries down. I've only had the phone in use for a few days so cannot speak to the actual battery life but from what I read, it is excellent.

The air triggers are not only great for gaming -- assigning them to zones on the display where they emulate a touch works very nicely and gives one a full view of the screen without hands partially obstructing it -- but also serve other purposes, such as taking a screenshot when you squeeze the phone. All such features are highly configurable, so if you want to turn on the torch by squeezing the phone or with a double tap on the back, for instance, you can.

The few downsides are: The display changes colour temperature with the viewing angle. This is less than ideal for people who are looking for accurate colour reproduction. The camera hardware as such is probably fine, but the image processing is definitely not as good as in other phones. If you want pictures that look polished straight from the camera, there are better choices available. Perhaps using a different camera app may help. There is next to no bloatware on the phone but a few apps cannot be uninstalled. Disabling them is the most one can do. The standard clock widgets do not offer a plain font. To get a neutral look on the home screen, one has to install an extra clock widget app. The Asus UI offers multiple views, though, and if one wants to avoid a "gamery" look, it is certainly possible with very little effort.

Overall, this is a very nice phone which has many attractive features even for non-gamers. As long as one is not put off by the weight and size of this phone, it is an excellent daily driver with a remarkable battery capacity and unusually great sound for a smart phone.
