I bought this to replace my Samsung A03 from a couple of years back, I've had this phone for maybe a month now. This new A04 has just been a let down, its extremely slow, lags and hangs a lot. Also the battery charges pretty slowly but drains quickly. Wish I'd gone with something else. This is a good value low cost phone for a variety of uses, particularly when purchased with a fingerprint reader. The battery life is huge and will contribute to a long working life if it is looked after, and it charges quickly with the included high power USB charger. However the camera does not really live up to the hype considering the multiple lenses. I bought it for special over Easter, and it was an absolute steal. It was laggy but after enabling developer options and turning off the animations and other things it's a perfectly functioning phone. Overall happy with my purchase. The camera alone blew me away, who wouldve thought you could get 2020 flagship quality in such a cheap package. There are definitely some caveats, like I notice its not particularly the fastest nor snappiest with certain apps and the screen is not outstanding. But for the price it performs admirably and I cant wait to see what the future model holds in store in 2 years time! I just use the phone for calls, text, message app and camera sometime. So this is good enough for me.
The display is quite big, easy to see the photos which I took or others did, however, it may not fit to your jacket or pants pockets.
Also the storage is not so big, so if you like taking photos, you will need to sort them out ( moving to other memory card or USB sticks?)
I did grade up from A02S to this A04, because A02S did not catch wifi 5G even though others did not have any issues for that.
If we travel to overseas, wifi 5G would be must to have it to connect internet at airport.

Connecting to 5G wifi function should be installed to all phones, but some sumsung cheap phones do not have that.
So it is good to cheack before you purchase.

Bought this for my mum and pretty much perfect for someone that does not bother too much with apps and only has the basic installed. Would also be great as a backup phone.
