The mount fits really well in my old cars air vent and the magnetic connection from my phone to the mount is really strong. My phone won’t be going anywhere. I've tried a bunch of different types and manufacturers of car phone mounts and never found one I liked, until now. As a phone mount, it's perfect. Hold the phone securely, but still easy to remove. Doesn't cause cable confusion. Doesn't 'wobble'. Doesn't randomly drop the phone to the floor. Even better, I can easily swap it between cars. This is a really useful product, and nicely understated. Doesn't take over your dash. Only draw back is with the magnet on the phone, I cannot use my wireless charger. Instead of struggling to navigate using Google Maps in the car, with the phone on the seat or in the tray by the handbrake, I can now look and see the directions clearly instead of only listening to the American accent murdering NZ road names. The large rectangular adhesive mount on the back of the phone allows me to position it to miss the switches and controls underneath the air vent. Added bonus; I don't leave my phone in the car anymore because it's right in front of me. I have had this current one for almost a month (bought it on Daily Steal) and found this current version more sturdy and the magnet secure the phone a lot better. Also the Air Vent mount holder fits in the securely and provide me with great confidence that it won't fall off despite the size & weight of my mobile phone (iPhone 12 Pro).
