Easy to use
Once your device[1] is paired and in range, it detects the pen and cues you where to place it onscreen. Erase, highlight, and click on your content with the two convenient side buttons.
1. The HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3 is compatible with the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, HP Elite x2 G4. and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5.
2. The HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3 is designed for magnetic attach to the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3, HP Elite x2 G4, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5.
3. Windows 10 required on paired device. Control panel software is preinstalled or available as a download and only works when the pen is used with the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 G4, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5.
4. Bluetooth® pairing, software programming, and the digital proximity alert are only supported on the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 G4, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5.

Do you own this product?
Doesn't work with all HP touchscreen laptops
We bought this with our new HP Envy X360, but unfortunately, HP was never clear about it not working with it. Returned it in the end. It's really quite silly to have pens that only work with some touchscreen laptops especially when it's made by the same company...
Nib snapped
Had the pen in my laptop bag and the end of the tip snapped off. I can't get the rest of it out of the pen and so can't replace the broken nib. Need to get a whole new pen. What a waste!
Very practical and certainly an advantage
I porefer tio use active pens. Keeps my screen free of finger marks.
This pen works really well with my HP Elitebook.
