Happy so far
Set up is probably more powerful than I will need to utilise, think it was a reasonable price for the specs. Nice big screen, zips though tasks, big improvement on my 6-year-old Windows 10 dinosaur.
Big screen but disappointed overall
I did a lot of research before landing on this laptop, and am already regretting it for 2 main reasons.
Firstly, the display quality is not as good as my old laptop (an ~8-year old Windows Surface Pro). In this Omnibook, the icons and text etc are blurry around the edges. I took it into a PB Tech store only days after starting it up and they took a look but said it was fine. I have a side-by-side comparison (attached in this review) and it's clear that this laptop has significantly blurred edges compared to the crisp display of my old laptop. HP continues to deliver
My previous laptop was an HP and I find them reliable and good value. The touch screen is probably the only feature I don't really use or need but it's there. It's quick to start and the larger screen is nice. It has a good range of USB ports. I'd say it's the best spec you can get for the price. Very happy with it.
