This powerbank unlike any others requires you to TURN IT ON before charging! This makes it more awkward to use than using a cable as the power button is hard to feel and is in an awkward place as you have to mount the phone sideways which then covers the switch, the reason it needs to be mounted sideways is because the bank doesn't allow for phones with multiple lenses that in turn raise it of the charging pad and so stops it from charging. All in all a device which defeats it's own purpose in supposedly offering a convenient charging system.

Bought two for the kids for Xmas.....takes about 2 days to actually charge up battery....really disappointed. I have a 16000mAh portable battery from RoHs that charges from really quick and better value.....has a solar panel also and was similar price.
Has battery indicator but worthless if people can't be bothered charging it up due to time. If you are about to buy this product and somehow stumbled on this review, allow me to save you time and money and strongly suggest you look for ANYTHING else but this one. A 12V car battery would be better.

Why? I can hear you asking. Well, I'll point out several issues with this item:
- It is described as 'Super-slim'. This would be correct if compared to the aforementioned car battery, otherwise this item is bulky and yes, it would fit in your pocket if you have a large one, there is nothing else in it and you are wearing a belt to keep your pants up.
- The 'smart LED' might be smart, but it is not easily seen during daytime as it's nicely hidden behind a mirror (Why?)
- The 'Included Built-in Kick Stand' is just a piece of plastic that comes out the side to be used in a way I could not find use for.
The Pomate products are good in general and I have no issues with any of the other items from that manufacture
The actual product I bought was replaced after two weeks by PBTech as it stopped recharging - but that an aside...

On the pro side, it does have Quick Charge, which is excellent.

Cheaper than some other power banks of the same size. Nicely built from high quality feeling plastic. Is able to keep up with charging my iPad even while playing videos at maximum brightness.
On the heavier and larger side but that doesn't bother me, still fits in my pockets (albeit not much else will fit along side it) Cheaper than some other power banks of the same size.
