Super Easy Purchase - Brother MFCL3770
I recently needed to replace an old ink jet printer and decided I needed something with the ability to scan multiple pages at once. After a little online research I settled on the MFCL3770 which would give me the ability to scan two sided pages as well. I have had Brother printers in the past and found them to be very reliable. Having colour laser available - even though I don't use it often - is such a big bonus and makes a lot more sense than having an ink jet where the cartridge jets become blocked with lack of use over lengthy time periods of non-use. Brother MFC3770cdw Colour Laser Printer
This is a great machine for a small business. Good support software and versatile. I particularly like the abiltiy to copy two sided documents with a single scan, and to combine single sided documents into a double sided one.
Ink is ridiculously expensive.
The printer ink is mega expensive, for the four cartridges it is cheaper to buy as new printer which comes with the required cartridges than buy the ink.
Brother also goes to great lengths to ensure the cartridges are not interchangeable with their other printers, meaning it is difficult to ensure you cartridges. If you move overseas it is nearly impossible to continue to use your printer.
Would not recommend.
Probably the best all in 1 printer you can buy
- Looks and feels great has all the features a small office or business needs.
- Double side scanning is a awesome feature not found on many other printers.
- Can connect to phones iPad pc very easily WiFi enabled. 10/10
Brother MFCL3770
Great printer, serves our purpose very well, printing a lot of CAD generated workshop drawings. Purchase price is reasonable but replacement ink cartridges are not, although they apparently last a long time.
