Epson Expression EcoTank ET-2810 All-in-One Printer

Like many others who have reported on this printer in this site and other sites, setting up the printer was a difficult and time-consuming experience. I chose the set-up through a smart device, but the smartphone set-up crashed halfway through, even though I was following instructions carefully. It took me half a day of looking up SSID, finding the cables to make a direct connection etc in order to make this printer work wirelessly. And now it is working it is slightly faster than the Brother printer that it was replacing, but it is a lot less capable.

Great price, very easy to set up, and very easy to print to. My boys can print certificates out of an educational app without trying, and the quality is good. I'm very excited about the ecofriendly nature of the ink - very easy to replace myself.

The product was accurately described on the web site clearly identifying all the features I required. The search engine worked well and did not get cluttered up with only "vaguely related" results. Stocking levels were accurate. Pick up requirements including security and identification requirements (ensuring the item would not be given to anyone unauthorised) were clear. On collection, their store was adequately staffed so I did not wait very long. The Serviceperson that assisted me on site was confident, friendly and polite. The whole process of making this purchase flowed really well and I would recommend PDTech as a competent dealer. Really good product and easy to install. It was basically opening the box, installing the app and press next.

Not impressed with set up - took ages and requires apps that have several variations. Also really unhappy that the printer has NO paper tray and only scans ONE PAGE at a time so multiple page documents are such a pain to scan and send! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
