Epson EcoTank ET-1810 Colour Printer

I bought this Epson printer to use as a sublimation printer to print on mugs, T-shirts, mouse pads and caps etc. The print quality is excellent and the results are brilliant. Please note that I have used sublimation inks only in this printer and I am printing on Epson sublimation paper. I have not used this printer for normal printing but from the results I have achieved I know that this printer would give excellent results with normal Epson inks and papers. I bought this for my business 3 months ago and have had a few different problems. The colours on-screen never matched the prints without adjusting the advanced colour management settings constantly. As if that wasn't annoying enough, it has now started leaking black ink all over my prints. I'm so disappointed and annoyed. It's not fit for purpose. We bought this printer recently and we love it. Very quick to print and vert responsive. Also because the ink is so cheap to buy it’s so cheap to print and pretty good quality.

I bought this to replace a previous Epson EcoTank when the scanner glass was accidentally broken! I decided I didn't need a new one with scanner so bought this smaller one. The printer was easy to set up, and easy to connect to including being easier to set up with Linux, It's great not having to buy the expensive printer cartridges, the bottles of ink are inexpensive and easy to find. We bought this particular printer because we needed one that had the print function only. And about that, this printer does exceptionally well for the price. Extremely cheap to run with the eco tanks, we homeschool our kids and use our printer multiple times a day, this has been an excellent no frills economical printer which I would have no issues recommending. Lightweight and compact printer with nice print quality and practical ink system. Was not as straight forward in connecting computers to the printer as the driver was not available on the App stores but was locatable on the manufacturers website. Downside of printer is that it doesn't do double sided print which I did not realise when I purchased. Probably would have selected an alternative printer had I known this. The print quality etc is fine, however using this printer via wifi, with a Mac, is a nightmare. It'll print once, then communication will drop out for no reason.
