Great A3 duplex printer
Bought as replacement for an older version HP7740 that had given excellent service for several years. HP9730 has all the same features with a number of updates. Was easy to setup and so far (I've had it for just a couple of weeks) works perfectly from both my laptop and mobile devices.
Have chosen the instant ink option for trial period of 3 months, and the next set of cartridges has already arrived by courier, even though the setup cartridges are still mostly full.
Fabulous machine
Just set these up tonight, we bought 2, as upgrades from the 7740 which we loved. This new wide format printer/scanner was even easier to set up than the previous model. And despite HP saying you can't set up by USB, we did as we don't have WiFi, so that's really great. We're impressed already after just one night 🤩
A3 tray sticks out
A typical HP printer great quality expensive ink.
BUT we struggled to work out how to load A3 paper the online manual is rubbish.
It turns out you have to extend the lower paper tray so it sticks out, which is a bit annoying.
