I've been using the Pi 4 as a music streamer with Volumio O/S for about a month, replacing a Pi 3b.
It's not quite as stable as the older Raspberry Pi but I'm putting this down to Volumio as it's a WIP for the Pi 4.
It does run hot so a decent case with good passive cooling or fan is a necessity. I'm using the Argon Pi 4 case (not the Neo) impo from the USA and it's superb at keeping the temperature down.

Have used Raspberry pi's for a number of year for various different projects. This pi has not only quadruple the ram but the specs enable it to run computer vision at 60fps and handle running a neural network in real-time. The dual 4K HDMI ports are also a plus as it makes development and general use much easier. This Pi is the first Pi worthy to almost replace a laptop. This is an excellent case for a Raspberry Pi 4. I am using my pi with my TV and this black case allows it to blend in really well. It also fits everything very nicely. Very convenient. Using some old RPi-1's for home automation, got sick of it taking 2 minutes to compile each iteration of my C++ application,
bought the RPi-4 - simpler to setup than setting up a cross-compiling environment from the PC.
Blown away by compiles now taking 5 seconds... I can write, compile, debug, loop, and when all good do the final compile on the RPI1 - Once.

Comparing 4 GB Ram, Quad core @ twice the Cpu speed with the old 0.5 GB single core, it makes sense, but was still a pleasant surprise.
