New on the pi scene, but very pleased with the product. Using it as I write this, and it seems to tick most boxes. It tends to over heat while doing video chat and other more intensive tasks. My Pi4B 4G is my first hands-on experience with a raspberry Pi. I have been fascinated with Raspberry for some time but didn't have time for something quite as minimal as the 2 or 3. I found the downloading and creation of a Raspberrian SD card easy enough and have even successfully installed PowerShell 6. It won't replace my go-to daily machine, I live in a Microsoft world, but what it can do is amazing. In terms of bang-for-buck, nothing I'm aware of can touch it. I'm using the Pi 4 as disk storage controller/node for my homelab VMs (separate hypervisor machines). SSD attached through the USB3 and 1GB Ethernet makes the Pi into a zippy storage controller. So far this products has worked fine although i'm still a little weary using it as it seems very delicate. But definitely worth the buy as it is practically the same price as the 3b. The raspberry pi 4 is a substantial upgrade over previous models, especially including the chipset and firmware. Unfortunately most of the more niche features, like 64 bit OSes, USB booting, and booting into anything other than Raspbian Buster just aren't here yet, and there's no ETA on when any of it is coming.
Outside of synthetic benchmarks, the performance isn't anything crazy either. Pushing it to it's graphical limits with Minecraft: Java edition is barely an improvement over the Raspberry Pi 3, and YouTube playback in the browser is terrible. Though these both could be improved with software updates.

Thermal performance is concerning, as the summer months come along I would expect more thermal throttling without a heat sink of sorts. With previous generations, it was optional. It's not anymore.
In my personal experience, powering the pi4 is difficult as well. Most standard usb power supplies tend to taper off at 2.4A, anything higher is often using a form of fast charging, which the pi doesn't support.

Initial testing looks good, my intention is to use it for Astro photography, just waiting on software guys to modify their code for the Pi4B
These Pi4B's need cooling to work reasonably and I expect life span will increase if cooled.

Need options for cooling , and cases:
Please get in stocks of cases , choices of heat sinks, small suitable fans, noting there is fan hat already on the market.
With the cases, get the FLIRC's and cases with fans.

Cons:
No vents and/or fan mount for cooling (Pi will run at 75 deg inside just idle)
No access to GPIO pins because there is no side panel like on the PI3 cases.

Recommendation:
If there is a Pi4 case with a fan available then buy that, if not you will probably need to mod this case and install a fan (there are tutorials on the internet) Pros:

Not much else to say other than it fulfills it's purpose as housing for the Pi4. Very easy access. I've since discovered the need for a heatsink for the Pi4, so it will be interesting to see if the heatsink fits within this chassis without any challenge. I purchased the Pi4 to replace the Pi 3 model B purely for the increased processing power and the USB3 ports for fast media transfer. In summary, not at all disappointed with the purchase, however you may want to invest in the heatsink, as streaming 4K video raises the temps, as does simply transferring large files over the network onto a USB3 connected device. More power in the Pi is just what was needed. Put one to work as a security camera monitor, the extra CPU can handle more cameras.
