Cons: have to have phone within 2 meters of speaker or the sound cracks up. A bit frustrating as I can't even have my phone across the room without distortion.

Needed something small and compact as an external speaker, and this little JBL BT speaker does the job perfectly. Sure the sound isn't as rich as bigger speakers, but it's more than adequate for my purposes. BT connectivity was quick and easy. Gets plenty loud to fill a large room. The sound is nothing special (it's like 40 bucks, you can expect what you'll get) but the volume that it can get to without distorting is seriously impressive.
