These speakers are great for general workstation use. Purchased as needed some speakers that are not too base heavy, and these did the trick nicely.

Surprisingly good although you do need to manipulate the software equalizer to get a full acoustic range. Bass can be boomy but easily fixed with the software. High end is a bit scratchy but acceptable. The cable is a tad short if the computer box is under the desk & will need an extension. Logitech do good products at a nice price point.

Sound is good, nice depth, good clarity - however, even though we haven't been thrashing them, we are already getting buzzing and fuzz in the higher frequencies - obviously a reflection of quality per price [and because the kids are using them on the PC] but still, there shouldn't be sound degradation already...
