Pairs fairly easily, connection remains strong at a distance with obstacles in between.
Sound quality is decent for the price, definitely better than my iPhone speakers.
Suitable for a small size gathering.
Haven't extensively tested battery life but feels within the advertised capacity.

Excellent sound quality. But has one really annoying feature - it makes a very very noisy sound when you turn it on or off. The on off sounds don't change based on the volume setting, they are really loud all the time. Workaround - don't turn it off. Excellent sound quality. This pocket-rocket simply blows the competition away. Don't let its size or price fool you - for its tiny size, it emits an amazingly loud, clear and clean sound. An older Logitech bluetooth speaker died and looked for a suitable replacement. The Xiaomi sound pocket portable speaker proved to be a more than adequate replacement. Easy to use and to my ear's good frequency response. Very pleased with the purchase at a competitive price. Happy to recommend it to others. I grabbed one of these during the 2024 Black Friday sales, and didn't think too much of it.
However, I was very surprised by the small size and modest 5W output - it gets reasonably loud and clear.

Perfect little speaker for taking with you on a trip. Good sound for it's small size. I bought one for my son and one for me... so now we can pair them together for even bigger, better, stereo sound. Handy little speaker, seems decently loud and clear for my use case in a small/medium-sized room and to chuck in the bag to take place to place. Probably won't work for a raging party outdoors but excellent for the price and size if that's what you need.
