I have two of these devices and have had no issue. It is a powerful device. It can also power your access points without the need to have separate power sources. There are cheaper PoE GigE switches around, however I have substituted those for two of these purely because of the added benefit of the UniFi integrated management of all of your devices.

Having a single view of all of the equipment saves so much time and effort. My other managed switch has been relegated to being a dumb switch.

Make sure to check the power draw on your devices before choosing which switch. And also consider which flavour of PoE your devices require. The unit I received was faulty but replaced without any issue by PBTech. The replacement unit is perfect, a great product and I intend buying another one. This product works extremely well with all other Unifi products, They run on a Linux platform with GUI interface (Based and built on the famous edge hardware & configurations) GUI Monitor, that can configure for remote services. You don't need to be an expert to configure, 4 POE's for POE Cameras, AP's or other devices. Oh, also no fan so very quiet. Free hardware and software updates are regular (every few month's) and can be scheduled to be automatically loaded out of hours.

PB Tech is one of the cheapest and only outlet for this product in New Zealand, the support is excellent.
