When I heard you could plug a small device into my existing tv and make it smart I was keen to get the latest TV/online shows and movies without have to buy a Smart TV I was keen. Bought the Smartvu dongle from PB tech - it arrived the next day, was plugged in starlight away and within about 30 minutes of setting up my logins to all my favourite media apps, the remote (reprogrammed so it replied the TV large remote with the great little Smart one), and my TV suddenly was Smart - love it. If you need freeview you will need a stable 5G connection otherwise every input is significantly delayed.

Purchased to replace VFTV. It does live freeview but not pause or record. Only crashed once so far in 4 weeks

This is a great streaming box, especially designed for Freeview but great for all other apps (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime)
I also have a Xiaomi Mi Box S and it is very similar - but the advantage of this is that it has a Freeview button on the remote to make it even easier to access Freeview.
It is also very small and discrete - hiding behind the tv set.
Good layout on screen - pretty quick response.

Purchased this product as a potential alternative to the Vodafone TV box (phasing out). Works great, remote operation is smooth and can programme tv functions to work from SmartVu remote. Very easy set-up - imports accounts and passwords from your phone - very easy to use and works perfectly. A very simple and reasonably priced alternative to buying a smart TV.
