I bought this after discovering that casting from our Meta Quest 3 headset to our LG OLED TV didn't work at all (thanks for nothing LG !). Setup was easy and the casting works perfectly with no pixellation or huge lag issues experienced so far. My TV lost Ethernet capability, but works OK other than that. The Google TV streamer lets me access Netflix, Neon, YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, TVNZ and TV3 on demand. It also has voice command.

Set it up on the TV not your phone. The phone APP sucks!! My TV lost Ethernet capability, but works OK other than that. The Google TV streamer lets me access Netflix, Neon, YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, TVNZ and TV3 on demand. It also has voice command.

definitely faster processor than the original and remote is well thought out not cramped like the old model. Probably fully priced vs competing products price point; I wouldn't want to pay anymore.
seems to have a short audio fade out after pausing viewing about 1 second the sound goes soft. I have a Samsung 4k Smart TV and a few of the app's have stopped being supported and it was getting a bit slow. But cos the picture was still fab I thought I would try this instead of a full TV replacement.

Plugged in - up and running in a few minutes. Nice interface, remoted just worked for everything, including by Harmon Kardon soundbar volume control. The interface is fast, lots of app's, controls my Google Home devices, and is about to get a big upgrade to Google Gemini AI smarts.

Very easy to setup although set up option appeared to require wireless password. I later connected a Lan cable and no further options required. The interface is very comprehensive with tv1,,tv3, netflix, disney, apple streaming and numerous others. Data to the TV produced a great picture. The old plasma TV has been transformed into a smart TV at a fraction of the cost of replacing it. For some unknown reason I cannot get Skygo only Sky sport.
The main unit is small and unobtrusive but for some unknown reason I need to use the TV remote to switch TV on and control sound which should have been combined in the google remote.
