I was initially hesitant to get another Samsung TV for gaming including this one, because my previous one that looked physically almost identical to this one, had some kind of odd fault, with the model I believe, when it came to gaming, on console or PC. The HDR black screen split second between closing the app and going to the main screen would occasionally cause my old Samsung TV to stay black, as though it was off, sometimes for up to 15 minutes - even after they replaced the main system board, so I was very hesitant to get another Samsung TV. On getting the TV, despite being the same size as my last Samsung 2021 model, even having the same stand, and same overall mould by the looks of it, I could instantly tell how much better it was. The user interface was so much snappier and more responsive, the colours really popped, amazing image for that price point, I couldn't be happier with it. Maybe the AI upscaling on it helps, I don't know enough about TV tech, I just know that it looks amazing for that price. Also, the only thing my previous TV had over it, was its ability to accept 120Hz inputs even if it couldn't display in 120Hz, it meant that for gaming consoles it was able to handle 40fps quality modes if that was a mode you wanted to take advantage of (as oppose to the 30fps quality/fidelity mode). So this new one can't do that, however I find the image noticeably better on this one, to the point that 60fps performance modes still look better to me than I recall the 40fps quality mode looking on the old TV.

For reference this TV was on special when I purchased it, however even at full price it was about the same as my previous one and I'd still have been happy with its price to performance ratio had I paid the full price. I recommend this TV for a great value image quality on movie/TV watching AND gaming
