CyberPower PFC Sinewave Series Tower Style 1300VA UPS with LCD, RJ11/45/, 6x AU,USB & Serial Ports ,

Been struggling to find a suitable UPS for couple of PC's and a high end NAS.

Tried various line interactive UPS's of around 1500VA, and had issues of the power going out, but the UPS not being able to cut in, and simply switching off instead.
Other units also became ridiculously loud in terms of noise after being on for a few hours.

After speaking with Cyberpower support, they recommended PFC (pure sinewave) models. (which work better with modern PSU's in computer equipment)

I purchased the Cyberpower UPSCPR61300.

The UPSCPR61300 is a supurb UPS, and although less VA rating than a 1500VA unit I previously tried, it functions just as one would expect with 'zero' noise.
Highly recommend this product, and it simply works as a UPS should.

Only had it a couple of weeks, so should be interesting to see how it performs over time, but no complaints thus far, and it leaves other models I have tested for dead.
I use it with NUT (Network UPS Tools) and had many emails sent from the NAS, but discovered I had to reduce the polling interval to 15 seconds from the default 30 seconds, which resolved that issue.

Nicely styled & the six power outlets on the back of the unit are handy for tidily connecting everything.
Large display on the front clearly shows all info (In/Out Voltage, Load, Frequency, Estimated Runtime).

Works natively with MacOS, no need to install additional software unless extra features are required. The UPS shows up under the "Energy Saver" settings page.

One downside: The Mac software (PowerPanel Personal) doesn't allow email notification to be set up, whereas the Windows software does.. However, PowerPanel Business Edition does allow for this. Had this unit for six months now.

This affords you far more protection and backup. With my connected equipment I'm enjoying 45-70 minutes of backup power for tablet, main PC and monitor operation. This means I can continue to output my thoughts and not be interrupted in my creative writing work for quite some time, as I can move to battery powered devices once the UPS battery is drained. You can't do that with a surge protector!

I had one brief issue with the CyberPower website when attempting to register this product, but they got right on it when I contacted the online service representative, and it was all resolved within 24 hours. Impressive service! I highly recommend this product.

This product is sleek and well designed, it takes very less space and has phone charges. It lasts 32 mins on 137kw usage powering a Qnap 453pro a Synology NVR a 48 port poe switch, router and 4 POE CCTV.
