Purchased this product for my NAS & modem and works fine. Only issue is the RJ45 ports. I did not buy this product for this functionality but thought I would try them out. Turns out they are either faulty or rubbish. According to the brochures & packaging these can be used to protect the data connections. Whilst this may be possible there seems to be a massive performance hit. I ran the speedtest available on speedtest.net, which failed with a socket error using these ports. Disconnecting this configuration and re-running the test and the performance was as expected. Great value for money UPS
Very handy having 3 UPS and 3 surge arrest power outlets. Keeps pc, modem and ONT going in power glitches.

I love it when prices go down as the technology improves. This product is an example. I'm extremely happy with the cost and with the performance levels. It's perfect for my needs and replaces a ten year old UPS on it's second battery. Upon analyzing the options it made far more sense to buy a superior UPS instead of putting another expensive battery in an outdated UPS. And PB makes the whole process so bloody easy. Having used UPSes on my desktop computers for over 15 years, I'm well aware of the importance of buying "the right product for the right job" - taking into account things like max-loading situations and the number of power sockets. Experience has taught me that the BARE minimum product for protecting a non-gaming basic PC must be a 750VA (450W), fully line-interactive UPS, with a bare minimum of 3 fully-protected standard NZ power sockets.
