After a discussion with a very helpful and very understanding person at the Call Centre, I bought one of these so that my oldish desktop PC could handle advanced 3D software (Autodesk Fusion 360). His standard of service was excellent, his technical analysis was spot on, and the solution arrived at was future-proof, because the card he recommended--this one--would do even better in a newer PC, so it was compatible with older machines and the newest. I could not be happier with the service, the product, and the ideal outcome--so much so that a few days late I bought another one of these cards to fit into an identical PC (I always like to have a twin machine for backup).
