What is MakeX?

MakeX is a robotics competition platform that promotes multidisciplinary learning of young people within the field of science and technology.

It aims at building a wolrd where STEAM education is highly appreciated and where young people are passionate about innovation by engaging them in exciting Robotics Competition, STEAM Carnival, etc.

As the Core of MakeX, the namesake MakeX Robotics Competition provides exciting, challenging and high-level competitions in the spirit of creativity, teamwork, fun, and sharing. It is commited to inspiring young people to learn Science (S), Technology (T), Engineering (E), Art (A), and Mathematics (M) and applying such knowledge in solving real-world problems.

MakeX Robotics Competitions

There are four different types of competitions (Spark, Starter, Challenge, and Premier) with varying levels of difficulty, meaning there is a category for all robotics enthusiasts from the kindergarten to university level.

Featuring more than 12,000 teams around the world, the MakeX Robotics Competition is committed to promoting innovation in science, technology, education through high-level competition events.

Participants apply STEM products using MakeX robotic kits to solve real-world problems according to themes presented to them such as Future Home, Smart Links, and Intelligent Innovator.
