Trade In — Terms & Conditions

The below Terms & Conditions relate to device trade-ins For more information or to get a quick price, see PB Tech Trade-in.

1. To be eligible for the PB Tech trade-in program you must:
   • be at least 18 years of age.
   • have an active PB Tech account to receive the gift card credit or agree to opening a new account.
2. Trade-in credit will be emailed to customer via Online Gift card and can be redeemed in store or online.
3. Gift cards paid via the trade-in program cannot be exchanged for cash at any time.
4. The estimate trade-in value for an eligible device is subject to change based on the condition of the device at the time of inspection in store. Note: all screen protectors must be removed during inspection of device in store and will not be-reimbursed if device fails inspection.
5. The estimate trade-in value for a device reserved through online booking form is subject to in store verification of model and configuration and will expire after 14 days.
6. Non-genuine parts or unauthorised, third party repairs may invalidate the trade-in offer. If your device has had a previous third-party repair or had unofficial parts installed, then we may not be able to offer the full estimated value, or accept the trade in device. 
7. The trade-in program may not be available in all PB Tech stores.
8. In store trade-in is available to consumers and restrictions may apply for business or commercial trade-in.
9. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any trade-in transaction where a device is lost, stolen, IMEI blocked or found to be part of any fraudulent activity.
10. You agree that there is no outstanding finance, debt or money owed for any device being traded-in. PB Tech will not be liable for any contractual agreements relating to the device.
11. All customer information collected as part of the trade-in program will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. You agree to erase all personal identifiable information and remove any security features like an active Apple or Google account at the time of submitting the trade-in device. PB Tech will not be liable for any data loss.
13. PB Tech will not accept liability of any accessories including active SIM cards associated with any trade-in device. These will be recycled and will not be returned once a trade-in transaction is complete.
14. Your device cannot be returned to you once the trade-in is complete and the agreed value is final.
15. We may update these terms and conditions at any time, without notice.
16. By participating in the PB Tech trade-in program you agree to all the above Terms and Conditions.
