Cruxtec Bluetooth 4.0 Nano USB Adapter -- BQB Certified

I use them for ble devices in homeassistant.
Got a number of these as they work great on raspberry pi and homeassistant yellow and via proxmox.

So if you just want a single device your golden otherwise you need a slight detour in your quest.

They all have the same serial and MAC address which prevents them from all being used at the same time and you have to use a tool to generate a new mac address https://macaddresschanger.com. I use them for ble devices in homeassistant.

Got this adapter to connect a wireless keyboard to a pc. it works but it loses connection after barely 3 meters. Does not work out the box, windows 10 and 11 both come up with driver errors. The box has a note on the back saying "This product uses CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack", which if you google comes up with dodgy as bloat/spyware. Do not buy.

The TP-Link dongle PB sells by contrast is straight plug'n'play and works mint.

I was delighted to discover this works in Windows XP (the package indicated it does, the PB Tech listing did not), with no need for a driver to be downloaded. This means my Mindstorms NXT software detects the NXT and pairs with it, no problem. I’m very happy! Recently bought this to use with some Sony WH1000MX4 headphones as I was having issue with my older bluetooth dongle when trying to connect my headphones to my PC. I run windows 10 with and AMD chipset. After using it at home for a while, I bought another one of these to use at work as well. Haven't been disappointed since. Purchased for BT headphones on desktop. Wouldn't connect and wouldn't connect to BT speaker. Tried headphones and speaker on laptop with no issues.
This should be only one star but I don't have a login. It was purchased in store.
