Really happy with this converter, works well without any problems I needed something to convert HDMI output from my Raspberry Pi to an old VGA monitor. Even the sound works good just plugged the one end of the little interface cable provided to the Audio out connector on the converter and the other end of the able to the Audio input connector on the monitor. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs to convert HDMI signal to VGA without any fuss. Worked fine. No need to install drivers or anything. Allowed me to use an older display monitor with only a VGA input with a modern laptop with an HDMI output. Quick delivery as usual. Worked fine. Works perfectly. It's as simple as plug it into your graphics card, connect a micro USB and connect the monitor.
Only complaint is that the micro USB isn't provided and it comes with a 3.5mm auxiliary cord for???

I bought this adapter with the idea of using my Google Chromecast with an analog monitor. To my delight, it works perfectly! I used a female HDMI joiner to connect the Chromecast dongle to the adapter and I was away. Audio works great too! I’m not sure if it’s due to my monitor being quite old but after a few minutes the connectivity drops and I have to unplug from my laptop and plug it back in. Rather annoying when you’re in the middle of a virtual meeting or working on something in photoshop. My monitor also won’t size properly when extending the screen from my laptop. It used to work fine when I did vga to vga.
