These are excellent. As an electronics tech, I would suggest if using a USB wall charger, make sure it is a 5V type only "do not use a laptop charger or a phone fast charger" These are capable of producing a higher output current and might make the batteries run hot while charging. Select a charger with an output of 5V @ 500mA, with a USB type "A" socket. Use only the USB lead that comes with the batteries as stated in the instructions.
Tests I did:
1) Samsung phone fast charger @ 5A = Charger and batteries ran a little too warm.
2) Samsung 5V standard (slow) charger rated at @ 1A MAX = Charger and batteries remained cool and fully charge...view more These are excellent. As with any batteries, a slower rate of charge will increase the life of the battery.

These rechargeable batteries are great. Firstly, they provide a higher voltage than most other rechargeables, which means they make devices run better, or in the case of my flash units, to recycle quicker.
Add to that, they are recharged from a USB outlet, using a short cable (supplied), so there is no need to carry a large battery charger with you if travelling, and on top of that, they come in a carry case to keep everything together.

We grabbed our son a set of these for his VR controllers, he was tearing through all our batteries and not telling us we were out, typical teenager right? Yes.

We charged a set up for him and he was able to get over a month out of a single charge. We have replaced all batteries in our home with Paleblue, including 9v, our youngest son loves these for his RC cars, just such a great purchase and we recommend people trying them. Using these in an electronic door lock - it usually gets slower over time as the batteries go down, but with these it's snappy until the very end of charge. Very quick and easy to recahrge too - will pay for themselves quickly at the price of good quality normal alkaline cells. These are smart and great for the environment. 1.5V means they work well in anything, tend to last almost as long as alkaline batteries on each charge. I'd prefer some kind of traditional charger but the spider cable works fine.
