1. Note: Failure to follow the instructions may result in property damage and/or user injury.
2. Do not immerse the case in water, nor allow it to make contact with water. This applies to both the external and internal sides of the case. Note: The battery may decompose following contact with water, which can lead to spontaneous combustion.
3. If the case falls into water, immediately retrieve it and place in a safe area until dry. Do not use the case again. Instead, dispose in accordance with environmental regulations.
4. Use of unofficial charging cases is not recommended. Insta360 shall not be responsible for any battery or equipment failures resulting from the use of an unofficial charging case.
5. Do not use or store the case in extremely hot environments. The ideal storage temperature is between 14°F and 95°F (-10°C and 35°C) with a relative humidity factor of <75%.
6. Do not use the case if the internal battery is bulging, leaking or damaged. If the case appears normal but emits an odor and/or is discolored, it should also not be used. Please contact Insta360 for processing if you encounter any abnormalities with your case.
7. Do not use the case in an area with a strong static electricity or magnetic field as this may damage the internal battery's protection board.
8. Disassembling or puncturing the case is prohibited as it could cause battery leakage, which can lead to corrosion, fire or even an explosion.
9. If the electrolyte within the battery does leak and makes contact with the skin or eyes, rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and then seek medical attention.
10. Do not throw, roll, impact your case with force nor place under heavy objects.
11. Stop using the case if it falls or is struck with force.
12. Do not heat the case.
13. Do not attach the case to wires or other metal objects that can short-circuit the battery's electrodes.
14. If there is dirt, dust or other particulate matter on the connections of the case, remove it with a clean and dry cloth, otherwise battery contact will be poor, resulting in energy loss and charging failure. Do not clean with alcohol or other flammable liquids.
15. 1Charge the case away from flammable materials and monitor the charging process to ensure it is carried out safely. Disconnect the case from the power supply when not in use.
16. The battery will be hot after use. Please wait until it returns to room temperature before charging to ensure it doesn't overheat, otherwise leakage, bulging and/or other damage may occur to the battery.
17. Before using the case, ensure the outer shell and interface are not damaged. If there is damage, do not use the case.
18. Keep the case out of the reach of both children and pets.
19. Do not store the case for over three months after completely discharging the battery as the cell may rot and this damage cannot be restored.
