There are pins that lock the cable in place once plugged, great feature if you are worried about the cable falling out... However on my cable the pins have failed to release on one end and are now locked into the display port of my 3080 seemingly permenently. Don't trust this cable in anything important or expensive or possibly suffer the same fate. Hopefully I can figure out a way to get it out of there without doing any damage to my expensive GPU. I was after a DP cable that had clipped on connections. The photos showed this but it was the wrong product (except for the last photo of cable in plastic bag).

Read the fine print on your packaging. Higher refresh rates mostly can be achived only through a display port not HDMI port . And yes way way better.

I bought this like a month ago and until now its still working perfectly fine for my GPU and does not creating much screen tearing when gaming, as well as streaming videos when I watch youtube or watch anime. I recommend this item for its best performance and its worth the money! If your a starter in building a pc, I highly recommend this product for your monitor!
