I got these mainly cos I was doing an order for other stuff and ties like this can be helpful for all sorts of reasons. I found that out when, not having the correct size screws to connect my old pc case fan to the back of the case I was able to use these cable ties in the place of the screws. Fan is successfully, securely in place in the back of my pc case all thanks to these cable ties. I do a lot of multi cable wiring for various projects and cable ties are a great way of tidying things up, and grouping cables as they run through the plant. There a a lot of 'cheap' cable ties out there and some not so cheap made of polymers that fail in the heat or the sun or both. Some break as you try to use them. These ones are boringly good. Small simple effective and they just work. No cable cutting profile. The ratchet system is firm and effective. It's all in the tooling at the manufacturer and the plastic formulation. For years I was using the twist ties, that you get in every new tech item, to organize and hold my cables.
