I don't like using the laptop keyboard or touchpad so I use a USB wireless mous and keyboard combo. When I got a second laptop I found I was either trying to use two keyboards and mice or I was pulling the USB dongle from one machine and plugging it into the other. Either gets old fast. So I got this thing. I plug the dongle into the UGREEN box and the two USB cables that came with it plug into my two laptops. To switch it is just a button press. Which one is active is shown by a pair of LEDs on the top of the box.
The LEDs could be a little brighter, otherwise it performs flawlessly and has made my life a lot simpler. The product works well as advertised. I have been using it with my laptop and my pc fir a while now, and there has been no faults. It works even when one device is disconnected. What could be simpler? Inputs from two computers feed one output. Now one keyboard or mouse can control both machines. Switching from one to the other is just a press of a button. I'm using this as a switch to connect my wireless keyboard to my laptop and my personal desktop pc. It's super responsive which I didn't expect. I had been running two computers via separate keyboards and mice. Transformed my work space instantly. takes up little desk space and the lag between screens is negilible. This is a great little unit and saves me unplugging cables to swap my keyboard / mouse from one computer to another. Just works as advertised so no issues at all.
