Reolink E1 Zoom 8MP/4K Indoor PTZ Wi-Fi Camera

This works very well and does not break the bank. I can check on my doggies at anytime from work in full colour and sound. If I cant see them, I just need to call out their names using the app on my phone and they come running along looking for where the sound came from. I have also had the pleasure to resolve a he-said she-said with two of my teenagers. They took it for a dummy cam and was shocked when I showed them the recorded footage......and now someone is growded. This works very well and does not break the bank. - RTMP/RTSP options to stream elsewhere, such as You Tube (Not that I will for this use case)
- Great image quality from the small sensor (admittedly I am using it in reasonable available light)

What I did not like:
- Nothing yet. I've not had it long enough and it's my first of these kind of toys, so I am probably still in the "wow" phase! :)

What I liked that I was not expecting:
- This is the V2 hardware which has an Ethernet port, this is not on the specs of the PB Tech site (which in fairness comes from the Reolink site) as it states the V1 hardware which does not have this.

What else I like:
- In my use case, I am monitoring our dog, but I can already see how easy it is to pick up, place elsewhere for other reasons very easily and the LAN port will also help if I am somewhere that doesn't have WiFi, or does, but has WiFi reliability issues or on the edge of the range for that WiFi, or it is congested.

Eyeing up others now, including the Duo 3 PoE, the Doorbell and an NVR. Before I purchased this camera I needed to know something that was not on their website. I begrudgingly logged a support ticket. To my surprise it was answered within the hour, providing ALL the info I asked for succinctly from somebody who clearly knew the products very well (the info is not in any knowledge base article).

Flexible, good programmable sensor motion alarm, clear night vision (you should see the standards for baby monitors, shocking) and it's been amazing for us so far.

Good little unit with excellent remote access. Sound and talk feature is pretty average but visually it works well to keep an eye on the pooch, who mainly just sleeps on the couch.

It's not excellent, but definitely a good quality camera. Excellent integration with Home Assistant, AgentDVR (iSpy), etc. No need to register or subscribe to use its features. Good quality image. It's good to schedule a weekly reboot to clean any potential error. Reolink app can do with better ux and features, particularly when it comes to user controls. The camera is good with nice clear pictures although it does have a few issues - one of the night LED's surrounding the lens didn't work, although it doesn't appear to reduce the cameras effectiveness its just noticeable when you look at it. Also its quite sensitive to shadows and light changes which triggers the camera to record. You can change the sensitivity settings but not had much look reducing the number of false triggers yet. I find it very slow to follow a moving object. Very slow to turn on it's base and noisy. The picture quality is average in my opinion
