AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU

This replaced a R5 2600x, which in its day was great, however this non X cpu is only a few a shades behind the R5 5600x and delivered a real world 40% better gaming performance paired with a RX 5600 xt, running in a gigabyte aorus b450 elite it only required a bios update and it booted straight away once finished and is highly recommended. I upgraded from Ryzen 5 1400 to this, and holy cow the difference is so noticeable! Even on office use!

Got this as part of a new build and have none of the CPU issues experienced before. It can run Warhammer Vermintide 2 on extreme settings without hitting it's usage cap (paired with Radeon RX 6600 XT). This was so worth it for the price. The power that this thing packs for the value is worth it. Would recommend for anyone that is building a gaming rig, or even if you want a powerful workstation. Not many people know this, but the 5600 is within margin of error compared to the 5600X, 5700X, 5800X and 5950X when it comes to gaming. Don't believe me? Look at benchmarks. Even though this CPU has 6 cores and 12 threads, that's all you actually need for gaming. If you don't plan on getting the 5800X3D (arguably the fastest AM4 CPU on the market) just get the 5600. You'll save money and it'll perform just as good in games as the other non-X3D variants. Best price to performance CPU on the AM4 platform when it comes to gaming, excluding the 5800X3D.
