Probably all you need
I picked this up after my 5800x kicked the bucked. I'm down 33% on threads, with functionally the same single threaded performance. My system is more or less as snappy as ever. Haven't noticed any difference. If you aren't doing renders on the CPU or long compiles, this is it.

Part of a new Build replacing something I built 7 years ago.
Used an after market cooler instead of the original one.
So so much faster that the 7 year old machine and it does not heat the room like the last one!

Great bang for buck
Still a great option if you're looking to run a cheaper build on the am4 platform. Runs smoothly at 1080p and 1440p, stock fan is reasonable too, will probably upgrade to something better in the future but not necessary.
Great performance
I bought this as an upgrade from an old i5 and the difference was night and day, smooth and fast. Great value for money.
Only downside is runs quite got so would recommend not using stock cooler.
