An amazing cpu for the price
The 5600x is a powerhouse of a CPU and breezes through all tasks easily and that's running it at the stock speed, Overclocking is an option for even more power being an unlocked CPU but is not necessary due to the effective speeds it already has at base frequencies. and with a 65w tdp it does not consume a lot of power from the power supply leaving more room for a beefy gpu that saps power. An extremely ideal CPU for people who game on their computers

Performs well but get a new cooler
This doesn't hold back an RTX 3080 in any way for gaming. I can pump out 165Hz at 1440p and there is no CPU bottleneck.
It gets pretty hot though, so I don't plan on using the stock cooler for very long.
Gave a huge boost in performance
After a long needed upgrade from a 2400G, this has given me significant performance increases across the board

Best gaming CPU for a kids bedroom
I love this CPU, I put it in two new builds for the kids. It has great boosted clock speeds, at 12 threads it has enough threads to run the game and stream with no jitter, but most of all, it is only 65W TDP! That means that if the child is on the computer all day (and night) instead of your electricity bill going through the roof, and their room turning into a sauna everyone remains calm and chill.
Yes - you can get faster, yes - you can get more threads - but they all use two to three times as much power and heat to get there. Every thing with computers is a compromise, and I believe that this CPU has the best compromises.

Used this for my first build and it was amazing. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who's planning on building their first gaming pc.

Click and collect for this was wonderful, I got this bundled with a Gigabyte B550 and some new ram, a very nice upgrade to my old pc.
Excellent CPU
This CPU has handled everything I've thrown at it, and can easily be overclocked if paired with a decent cooler.
