Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter, Simple Setup Long Wireless Range Automatic re-pairing, Multi-point Bluetooth Technology, 3.5mm or RCA connection

I have owned one of these, and got rid of it. The problem is that once a device that has been paired comes within range, the Logitech adapter connects automatically and then sends a loud beep through the sound system. If you leave your system on, then you get this very loud sound every time you walk into the room with your phone.

Trivial problem, you may think. Turn the beep off. The problem is that there seems to be no way to turn it off. I have searched high and low for solutions, and it seems there is none.

One of those purchases which works better than expected. 1st one purchased to stream on an older sound system in our holiday home, worked so well that fitted another one to our home sound system, an older Bose souround system. This adapter has terrific BT range, is foolishly simple and super effective.

This unit is excellent in every respect. Although why a modern compact device that runs on 5 volt doesn’t have a micro USB input instead of 3mm co-axial plug beggars belief. So to use it in your car you need to get out the soldering iron and cobble together a USB lead. Not impossible but unnecessary. This unit is excellent in every respect. Setup is easy; Bluetooth range is impressive; sound quality is excellent for playing MP3 or WAV files. This receiver doesn't support audiophile-quality codecs like aptX, but you probably don't want to play those through your phone or laptop anyway. I'm happy with this purchase. Whilst easy to setup and connect I find two things annoying:

When it works it's brilliant, but it has constant and seemingly completely random connection issues. It'll play fine for an hour, and then inexplicably develop a horrible stutter which can't be fixed without unpairing and repairing the device, sometimes successfully, sometimes not. This is when playing audio from a laptop or cellphone only 2m away. Sometimes it will pair immediately with a device, sometimes it just won't pair at all. Sometimes it will 'psuedo-pair', i.e say it's connected but not actually be able to play any audio. I've tried unpairing all devices except the one you want to use, and everything else suggested on internet forums, but nothing seems to get it to work reliably. It's slowly driving me crazy. I would give it two stars but I honestly can't be bothered creating an account just for that purpose.

The adaptor was easy to setup and get going. Audio output is low compared with other audio devices. If you want to switch between audio inputs, is bluetooth adaptor and say radio or other then there is a big volume change. The adaptor was easy to setup and get going.
