I have two which successfully run both NVME and SATA based M.2 cards with an SATA cable plugged in to the card.

PCI powered cards that also supply SATA protocol seem to be extremely rare.

I could say a great buy at the price but in fact it's just a great buy. If you have moderate or better knowledge, it's easy to install. The performance was better than expected. If you have spare NVMe modules or want to instal one and have no M.2 slots , or none left, then this is perfect.

I got this when upgrading my PC, forgetting I had already used my motherboards, only PCI-e SSD Slot.

This came with everything required to mount my Samsung 980 pro in an old machine. Works great in Linux.

Unfortunately it was delivered with no brackets and screws for the ssd's - unusable.
