When your paying for a A grade you would think you would be getting something that matches the photo

I was given the wrong monitor - the E231, not the E231i.

I have an RMA request in but of course Covid is slowing things down which I do understand. I'll be happy to change this review once I get the correct monitor and can review it but for now I'm leaving this as a caution for others to check if they purchase it as I'm not the only person this has happened to. Was disappointing after setting up, etc found out PB Tech is giving me E231 not E231i as advertised / delivered.

There is certainly a difference in resolution quality.

Being asked to do a review ... Here we go ... The package arrived fairly quickly - happy. I unpacked taking my time. I enjoyed every moment unpacking!!! It's like Christmas in July!!! I plugged it into the wall socket outlet with the supplied cable making sure the power was off. Then plugged it into the PC with the supplied display port cable. Then I switched everything on ... First the monitor, then the PC. This is where my excitement went through the roof!!! (ceiling first though) IT WORKED!!! IT WORKS!!! YAY!!! Being asked to do a review ... Here we go ... Bought this for a home computer which we do some work on. Image is very good and so far the kids' games haven't been an issue. Monitor overall looks good and was in great condition. I bought one of these monitors to replace an older screen which was several years old & had stopped working. The 231 is a basic monitor originally marketed for use in large organisations. It has great resolution, and really easy to adjust the height & tilt of the screen. You can also turn the screen 90 degrees to switch between portrait & landscape modes. Its only drawback is lack of an HDMI port, but for me that wasn't an issue. You could always use a DVI-HDMI adapter if HDMI was a necessity.
