Does what it says on the tin
Grabbed this one after having to replace a potentially faulty Crucial drive. Have had a handful of Samsung NVMe drives in the past; none of them have failed me yet and this one seems to be continuing that trend.

Synology NAS read cache
I bought this for a read cache for my Synology NAS. Easy to install and it does seem to speed up quick scrolling through my photos by quite a bit, although it still lags on an initial load of new photos and when the cache is refreshed, but that is to be expected.

Solid performance for a decent price, tempted to grab more and say goodbye to the HDDs I still have left in the computer.
Amazing product
I recently upgraded from a HDD to this M.2 and the difference is absolutely incredible. This SSD allows for extremely quick download and load times. I used to turn my PC on, and sit on my phone for about a minute whilst waiting for it to boot, now by the time I pull out my phone and turn it on my PC's already booted.
The only con about this may be the price, but buying this product during a sale is an absolute steal. But I would still recommend this SSD without a sale if you got the budget.
An excellent SSD for the price
This Samsung 980 SSD is the best 1TB SSD for the price (the promotion price). In my opinion, it is good for a data drive or backup. There is nothing wrong if you want to use it as a system (OS) drive but I would recommend the Samsung 970 Plus 1TB for a system drive, which is a bit more (but not too much) expensive but has better performance. Anyway, this Samsung 980 1TB SSD is a good SSD to me and it also works well with the AUSUS USB-C NVMe SSD enclosure.
End of 2 years slow PC trouble.
I have a dell Inspiron 3584 with 1TB HDD and i3 processor of 7th gen. It used take me atleast 10minutes just to unlock the PC and then more than 1.5 hours to open the word and let it load the add-ins and then create a doc file for my assignments should, my system allow me to.
After installing this affordable SDD all I want to say is, ITS WORTH IT.
It now takes me less than 0.5minutes to sign in and I have removed my HDD as 500gb SDD itself is more than enough for me.
Highly recommended.
Great product and price
WOW these things are fast even though it is not the PCIe 4.0 version. Had an older crucial SSD which this one just blows away based on Read/Write performance. Great value and advice again from the PB Tech team
