Bought this to replace the 500Gb T3 drive my wife has been using - the T7 is now backup for her MacBook Air. I purchased two 1TB drives for use as photographic backups in the field. Using a Nikon Z9, taking 50MB images, I can download 10,000 images in about 11 mins to my Surface Studio Laptop. Average transfer is about 480MB/s.

This SSD has been amazing for me over the last two months. I have already stored about 500GB of games. I like it because of the insane speed at which it can read and write, which allows it to load games very quickly.

they make great storage devices. the USB is type C and they come with two cables, one that connects to the traditional USB type A port. And another USB C to USB C, great if your computer is newer and uses type C ports. It is also fast and has encryption.
