It is light and small
I like it, if it can support imac, that will be even better.
Big storage on the go
The WD Elements 4TB portable HDD is a great choice for those who like to take all of their important family photos and videos or even photography on the go to show friends and family and still have space left for everything else.. I purchased this a few weeks ago as I needed some more storage space for backing up my documents. I would have preferred a desktop drive but I liked how portable this unit is.
A great safety net!
A small price to pay for knowing your backup memories are safe.
Appears to be a good product
At the time of writing I have barely used it, but it is compact and seems to be at least as mechanically robust as might be reasonably expected. Due to my limited use, I cannot attest to its reliability yet. It worked fine for transferring a Windows 10 primary drive image from an old magnetic HDD to a new SSD. The write time of the image to this drive was as expected and the image read time for the new installation was quite good.

Surprised by a lemon but PB Tech was brilliant
Whenever I buy disk drives, internal and external, I always buy Western Digital, and have never struck a lemon. But this drive was a shocker. Problems immediately, so I ran disk-check and it hit a bad sector right at the start. It would not even re-initialise or reformat. Nothing. Then PB Tech's marvellous replacement system kicked in. They sent me an application form to fill in under warranty, promptly emailed a prepaid courier label and a data-sheet to be printed out, and the courier collected it from my letterbox. One star for this rare lemon, five stars for PB Tech.
