I just happened to see this sunglasses on sale when I was browsing at PB Tech Queens Street store. I know Xiaomi has many excellent products as I have used their mobile phones, sensors, routers, vacuum cleaner, rice cooker over the past 10 years. Read the description on the box and reckoned that I could try this product at the price.

I wasn't disappointed as it is not some cheap sunglasses. It is made by a Chinese company under Xiaomi's brand but it is a good one which suits exactly what I need especially when I am driving on sunny days. I don't consider these drawbacks necessarily but a couple of things to be aware of with these glasses:

- The polarising filter is diagonally aligned, whereas most polarising glasses it's horizontal. The advantage of this is you can read phone/tablet/atm screens with the glasses on without tilting your head (or the device), disadvantage is they don't cut out reflections from flat surfaces like water as to the extent a horizontal filter would (unless you tilt your head).

- The hinges are designed to break away in any kind of situation that might damage normal hinges (and can be easily clipped back on), this means the glasses are very unlikely...view more I don't consider these drawbacks necessarily but a couple of things to be aware of with these glasses:

Overall these are really good glasses to use as driving glasses where you might need to look at LCD screens/displays that regular polarising glasses could be problematic with but also want good protection from glare
