Very small and lightweight. Only thing to note is that it doesn't float unless its in its little "lifejacket" case. It comes with a solid fixing bracket too, which would be very useful, except you cant use that if the beacon is in its case. In an emergency, I don't want to have to muck about putting it in its case, so want to store it in the case at all times. Bit of a pain to have to invent my own fixing for it in that configuration... I now have two of these units. Although you hope never to have to use them, one of them was used in an emergency - and thankfully it worked perfectly! After use, it was easy to get the unit serviced and the battery replaced for another 7 years plus piece of mind. Compact and light. Great product. I now have two of these units. Really small so easy to find a space for it when you are packing a lot for a big mission. And super easy to register online.
