Eufy Security Deadbolt Smart Lock Touch & Wi-Fi with Fingerprint

The fingerprint sensor is STILL absurdly fast, never have to do multiple attempts. Just touch your finger and it immediately responds. Even after all these years never needed to recalibrate. This really reduces the hassle of entering your house. I cannot convey how much of a convenience this is. Installation was straightforward as well.

What I find odd is that you can completely wipe the lock just by having access to the QR code on the back of the lock, it doesn't even give a notification to the current app admin that the lock was reset. Could be a security flaw.
Battery is nowhere close to 365 days, now lasting us only 6 months. The lock is only used 2 times a day, 6 days a weeek. The real issue is the fact that the rechargeable battery pack charges via micro-usb, which is a very slow charge time leaving your lock inoperable for over 5 hours. Additionally there is no way to get a replacement battery easily from Eufy which is not ideal.

Eufy app has also been getting worse. It regularly updates causing you to be signed out and not receive notifications.

Overall some teething issues and minor flaws for an otherwise good smart lock. Though I would keep my eye out for the new version with a camera in-built as well 'Video Smart Lock'.

So convenient. Replacing an old deadbolt lock had to make a few adjustments to the original holes. Very easy to install by following the instructions and voice prompts. Use the fingerprint function mostly but the code also when my hands have paint on them.

Install was as described and fairly straightforward onto an existing front door. Great to have all the access options, including a key as a backup option. Only downside is it is not a deadlock that can be locked from the inside, so anyone inside the house can unlock it with the lever and not need a key. Very easy to fit, amazing product, just love Eufy. Quick and easy to buy online. So handy to be able to access information and remote lock or unlock. Connected easily to our other Eufy products. An easy to install and use door lock. It looks smart too and not too bulky like the other smart door locks.

We have some people that struggle with technology and some people that forget keys or lose them. This takes care of all of them.

You can use a finger print or a pin code, or app to unlock the door. Worst case a key. It will lock the door if you forget after a few minutes or you can ask google etc if it is locked so no more "Did I remember to lock the door?" It just makes things easier.

It's easy to set up and integrates with the Eufy Home hub and door bell/camera etc. The battery lasts a few months but they never last as long as the manufacturer quotes.

Definitely would buy again.

Never have to worry about the cost and hassle of renewing physical keys. Now I can add my guests fingerprint and custom PIN then remove in no time. Also keeps track of who's coming and going since my property has multiple rooms. I do have two complaints however, 1 is that the battery life is rather short and the app is not super friendly. It maybe because of the number of people coming and going but the battery has lasted for 3 months which is not even half of the product claim.
