Midea Air Cooler 7L Water Tank

Got this when the heat came in this summer as the misses and I can't stand to be too hot at night, and the heat pump really doesn't cool that part of the house.
Unpacked it at home, and instantly put the included ice blocks in the freezer. Filled the tank with bout 5 litres of water to save space for when I put in the ice blocks.

I already have ducted air conditioning, but the lounge struggles to get cool so I brought this to work with my air con. As a fan it works great, 4 speed settings, 1 being super quiet. Using (chilled) water and the ice blocks means the fan, under humidify setting, produces slightly cooler air. It's not going to blast icey cold air in your face but slightly cooler fan air isn't exactly a bad thing either. Excellent as a fan, but just good as an air cooler.
