I have been using induction cooker for 15 years and the Midea 2100W comes being the worst one. It only serves to boil water or cook with water, otherwise it just shuts down with an over heat error even on its lowest temperature. This is awesome if you're wanting to boil something really quick, but I found from my use of the cooktop it could burn food really really quickly.

The issue is due to the induction cooking mechanism pulsing on and off to deliver heat to the pot/pan (unlike much more expensive induction cooking appliances which sustain the heating and don't need to pulse) which makes it hard to cook something which is very temperature sensitive such as meat, without accidentally burning it unless you're constantly flipping it everytime it pulses so you're effectively forced to leave the heat on the lowest setting which makes you question what's the point of...view more This is awesome if you're wanting to boil something really quick, but I found from my use of the cooktop it could burn food really really quickly.

All in all, it's an okay price to performance ratio, but if you're wanting to purchase this as an upgrade to your traditional convection based cooktop, it'd be worthwhile getting a much higher quality induction top which can consistently hold the heating on while in use.
